OFFICIAL EVENT POLICY & TERMS OF ENTRY Welcome to Groove Temple — where generations unite and the groove becomes a culture. To ensure a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience for all attendees, the following event policies apply to everyone attending a Groove Temple event. By purchasing a ticket and entering the venue, attendees agree to comply with these rules and any reasonable instructions issued by event management or venue security. 1. TICKETS & ENTRY Valid tickets are required for entry. Tickets must be purchased through authorised ticketing platforms or approved sales channels. Each ticket grants entry to one attendee, subject to the ticket terms. Tickets may not be duplicated, resold fraudulently or used for unauthorised commercial purposes. Attendees must comply with venue security checks and entry procedures. Management reserves the right to refuse entry where there is a legitimate safety, security or legal reason, subject to applicable law. 2. AGE RESTRICTIONS The minimum age for entry will be specified on the official event listing. Valid identification may be required to verify age. Attendees must comply with all applicable age restrictions and South African laws. No underage person will be permitted into age-restricted areas or to purchase or consume alcohol unlawfully. 3. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS All ticket purchases are subject to the published ticket terms and applicable South African consumer protection laws. Refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances, including event cancellation, postponement or material changes. If Groove Temple cancels or postpones an event, ticket holders will be notified of the applicable refund or ticket-transfer arrangements. Personal circumstances, late arrival or failure to attend do not automatically qualify an attendee for a refund. Nothing in this policy excludes any refund or other right provided by law. 4. CODE OF CONDUCT Groove Temple is built on music, unity and respect. All attendees are expected to: Treat fellow attendees, artists, staff and security personnel with respect. Refrain from fighting, harassment, discrimination, intimidation or threatening behaviour. Respect personal boundaries and obtain consent for physical contact. Follow reasonable instructions from event organisers and security. Help maintain a welcoming environment for people from different generations and backgrounds. Any behaviour that threatens the safety or enjoyment of others may result in removal from the venue and, where appropriate, further action. 5. PROHIBITED ITEMS & ACTIVITIES The following may be prohibited, subject to applicable law and venue rules: Illegal drugs and prohibited substances. Weapons and dangerous objects. Outside alcohol or beverages where prohibited by the venue. Items that may endanger attendees or disrupt the event. Unauthorised selling, promotion or commercial activity. Any illegal activity or conduct that compromises event safety. Security personnel may conduct lawful searches in accordance with venue procedures and applicable law. 6. ALCOHOL & SUBSTANCE USE Alcohol may only be sold or consumed where legally permitted. Valid identification may be required when purchasing alcohol. No alcohol may be supplied to persons below the legal drinking age. Disorderly, aggressive or dangerous behaviour resulting from intoxication will not be tolerated. Attendees are encouraged to drink responsibly and arrange safe transport home. 7. SAFETY & SECURITY Attendees must follow emergency procedures and instructions from security personnel. Fighting, violence, dangerous crowd behaviour and deliberate damage to property are prohibited. Suspicious activity, medical emergencies or safety concerns should be reported to event staff immediately. Attendees enter and remain at the venue subject to its lawful safety procedures. Event management will take reasonable measures to support the safety and security of attendees. 8. ARTISTS & EVENT PROGRAMME Artist line-ups and performance times may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Groove Temple will communicate significant changes where reasonably possible. A change to the programme does not automatically determine refund eligibility; applicable law and the published ticket terms will apply. 9. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY Official photographers and videographers may capture event footage for promotional, marketing and archival purposes. By attending, you may appear incidentally in crowd or atmosphere footage. Where identifiable individuals are featured prominently or their image is used in a manner requiring consent, appropriate permissions will be obtained. Attendees must respect the privacy of others and must not record or distribute content in a way that violates their rights or applicable law. Anyone with a concern about the use of their image may contact Groove Temple management. 10. PERSONAL BELONGINGS & PROPERTY Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. Lost property should be reported to event staff. Theft, vandalism and deliberate damage to venue property are prohibited. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. 11. REMOVAL FROM THE EVENT Groove Temple management and authorised security personnel may take appropriate action, including refusing entry or removing an attendee, where reasonably necessary due to serious misconduct, safety concerns, unlawful behaviour or a material breach of these policies. Any action taken will be subject to applicable law and the attendee's legal rights. 12. GENERAL CONDITIONS Attendees must comply with applicable South African laws and lawful venue rules. Event policies may be updated where reasonably necessary for safety, operational or legal reasons. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate official channels where reasonably practicable. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
