Aline Media Group turns up the heat at this year’s Hollywoodbets Durban July with the debut of The Ascots. A bold, world class fusion of music, hospitality, and elevated culinary experiences.
The event introduces international headliners to the Durban July stage, featuring Bryson Tiller & Masego, alongside South Africa’s finest, including Shekhinah, Elaine, and Tresor.
More than just an addition to the calendar, The Ascots marks a defining shift in the Durban July experience. Spanning 12,000sqm across the southern lawns of Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse, the event will host 4,000 guests within a premium, boutique festival setting. The experience showcases the very best of Durban, from standout cuisine to world class production by some of South Africa’s leading event teams, all curated to deliver a seamless, high-calibre journey from arrival through to the final act.

Please note that this event operates a strict No Under 21 policy.
- All attendees must be 21 years or older on the day of the event.Valid government-issued identification (ID, passport, or driver’s licence) will be required upon entry. No refunds will be issued for ticket holders who fail to meet this requirement.
- Parking is excluded in the ticket price.
Security & Safety Restrictions
- Firearms, weapons, or any dangerous objects.Illegal substances or narcotics of any kind.Fireworks, flares, explosives, or any hazardous materials.
Food & Beverage
- No outside food or beverages (including alcohol) may be brought into the venue.
Event Experience & Conduct
- Large bags, cooler boxes, or containers exceeding security size limits.Umbrellas, gazebos, or large shade structures.
- Professional cameras, video recording equipment, drones, or audio recording devices without prior accreditation.
Branding & Commercial Activity
- Unauthorized branding, promotional material, flyers, or merchandise for sale.Banners or signage not approved by the event organisers
Other Restricted Items
- Pets (excluding certified service animals)Any items deemed unsafe or disruptive by security at their discretion.
1) Right of admission is reserved. The event organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual not complying with event rules or behaving in a disruptive manner. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
2) In the event of cancellation, postponement, or changes due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s control, including but not limited to acts of God, adverse weather conditions, government regulations, or public safety concerns (force majeure), the organiser shall not be held liable for any loss or damages incurred. Tickets will remain non-refundable; however, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule the event or provide alternative arrangements.
3) Service fees are included in the ticket price.
4) Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse entry tickets will be emailed to you after your purchase.
Food will be served in a harvest table format and not as an à la carte or individually plated service in hospitality areas only. Please note that, as an outdoor event, this will not replicate a full restaurant or kitchen service.
Cash Bar and Food Vendors will be available.
Beyond the premium service offering for table bookings, clients will be responsible for purchasing any additional drinks should their allocation be exceeded.
