Tumi's Radio Live presents: The Decks Are Hers
As we wrap up Women’s Month, we celebrate women who continue to take up space, shape culture, and move music forward.
This edition of Tumi’s Radio Live presents The Decks Are Hers , a women-led open decks night featuring 20 female DJs, each delivering a 20-minute set and bringing diverse and alternative sounds to the booth.
Inspired by the historic Women’s March of 9 August 1956, The Decks Are Hers honours the 20,000 women who marched to the Union Buildings with courage and conviction. As we mark 70 years since the historic march, we reflect on its enduring legacy of courage, unity, and women taking up space.
A night of celebration of women, music, representation, and the power of taking up space.
