Festival Times

Access to the Festival Grounds opens at 07:00.


No entry will be allowed without a digital Howler ticket presented at the gate. Upon scanning your ticket, you’ll receive your festival wristband.


No digital pass, no access. No wristband, no access.


Spectators and festival-goers are welcome to cheer on runners at the start line, with the first race kicking off at 06:30 and the last race at 07:15.


Please note: festival gates only open at 07:00, so grab a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere at the startline while supporting the runners if you arrive early.

Age Requirement


Under 4 years – Free entry


Children 4–12 years – R50 per child


Anyone under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian upon entering the festival terrain. No person will be allowed entry with a child ticket if they are not under the age of 12.


No alcohol sales to anyone under 18 (ID may be requested).


This is a family-friendly event – kids welcome, good vibes guaranteed.



Parking

Parking & Transport


Free and pre-paid parking options are available within walking distance of the start/finish area.


Free Parking:

Doornbosch Street (150 bays), Laerskool Eikestad (VIP only), and the Open Field on Koch/Vrede/Park St (±500 bays).


Pre-Paid Parking – R50 via Howler:

Rhenish High School and Bloemhof High School (±250 bays each – school fundraisers).


All parking areas will be closed to vehicle movement between 06:00 and 10:00, reopening afterward for festival access.


We strongly encourage using E-Hailing services, or carpooling to reduce congestion and make access smoother. Please follow marshal directions and park responsibly.
