Nivaadh Jeeth Singh a.k.a "Deejay Nivaadh Singh”\, w ho currently owns and signed under Destination 4:13 Records has become not oriously popular in the SA entertainment scene pushing the limits in achie ving his goals. His passion for entertaining started at a young age of 10\ , when he was exposed to live shows by his parents. ‘Seeing how much joy music brought them really captivated me. To my understanding at the time was that music is an element responsible for giving you great memories and joy.’
And just like that in 20 06\, with a makeshift drum set made out of cardboard boxes and used pencil s as drumsticks\, Nivaadh started his music career as a drummer. ‘I then moved on to the art of DJ’ing using two DVD players and second-hand mix er that was R40.’ DJ’ing and drumming wasn’t enough for him to satis fy his music career\, thus pushing him further to learning music productio n and recording engineering. ‘I started my recording studio in 2008 call ed “Studio 4:13”. “Studio 4:13” soon changed to “Destination 4:1 3 Records” in 2012.
Some of his highlights in his career include being the first DJ ever in Zululand to b e nominated and awarded finalist in the prestigious Zululand Chamber of Co mmerce award and when his single ‘Whoopah’ was in the Spinnin Records (Netherlands) Talent Pool Charts top 30. In 2018 was awarded “DJ OF THE YEAR” by CITY AWARDS.
Deejay Ni vaadh Singh has a long lineup of projects to his discography\, including b eing the producer of Umfolozi Idols winner\, Vinesa Naidoo\, Phaksy from S A Idols Top 8 & Leote Taylor from Rowick Deep Records and now signing of l ocal pianist & song writer Gabriel Gerhard to Destination 4:13 Records.
Deejay Nivaadh Singh also simultane ously shares a double discipline & full time profession in the mechanical engineering sector\, making him under 300 and one of the 20 youngest peopl e in his mechanical disciplines in South Africa.
